L-shaped couch on flybridge and 42 classic

Postby jjletteri » Sun Jan 26, 2014 4:16 pm

I'm soon to take a delivery of a 93 42 classic. The flybridge does not have the L-shaped couch nor the table. Wondering if anybody has had someone fabricate or grand Banks may have still the mold for this couch. The table is less of trouble but any information on that would be terrific as well. What a wonderful forum looking forward to years of helping somebody if I can. This makes the old hunter forum where I came from look like a newsstand compared to a library. Thanks very much :D

Back in the day, we ordered our 42CL with no L-shaped settee and no table. We preferred using two folding recliner chairs, 2 regular folding or stackable chairs and a folding table, all of which could be stowed out of the weather. Much more flexible and comfortable, less maintenance, way less expensive and an open deck area when needed.
