Parting out 32 classic woody

Postby Grandham295 » Sun Dec 31, 2017 3:19 pm

Parting out complete gb 32 classic woody. They're tripping the state harbor rates, without justification or basic facilities. They've already made anchoring illegal "" here. A shame, we plan to make a tiny home with the hull, possibly cut the deckhouse off like her old workboat grandmother for a workboat, and make a huge trailer   dreams

I would be interested in one of the lift rings in the main cabin. There are three in my GB32 and all are the same size: 1 7/8" x 2 5/8". All the new ones seem to be a little different in size.

Thank you all for the interest. I didn't receive any pms from you all for some reason? Try again or post? Keijo looks like you have an earlier woody and I don't know when they started changing the sizes for the hatch pulls. There might be a good one left but no guarantee how long it will last as a couple broke on me already

Do you have the bronze trim for the lazarrette hatch?

Grandham295,
I can see now that there is no message in my 'sent box'. Don't know what happened...
Sorry to hear about your situation.
My wife and I have recently purchased a 1974 GB32 and we're in the process of bringing her back up to snuff. There are some items that we need. Maybe they are the same as those on your woody-
- the 'Grand Banks' step plate at the rail opening
- the bronze hardware at the ends of the rails and the small bronze plates that the rail ends rest on when open
- parts for our Shipmate stove
- a drawer in the salon
I can get over to the boat and get some pictures if that helps. Let me Know.
Again, sorry to hear about your situation.
Mike

Onesockbob, looks like trim is missing

The deck has been fiberglassed already, there may be a step plate to exhume. Someone is casting replacements here I saw as well. I do have some rail hardware but will have to locate the pieces, how many do you need? As for the drawers they will probably stay with the boat, to be a house and all. The stove is a replacement princess.

I’ll get over to the boat and take some pictures and get a count ASAP.
Thanks.

Grandham295-
I'm attaching pictures that show the hardware that I need.
The rail ends that I have are fine, what I really need is the mechanism that sits inside the rail end to lock it. I need 3 of those. I also need the horseshoe shaped plate that the open rail sits in. Two of them.
Wadda ya think?
