Sure would love to see you and your 32 at the Rendezvous in May at Roche Harbor. Though there are certainly some pristine boats there, there are plenty of well-used examples as well. And a good assortment of 32's. We often even have a Chanteyman or two (pre-"Spray" American Marine boat). Great place to wander the docks, learn a little GB history and enjoy the camaraderie.
I remember the 32 rendezvous back in 2004, I believe, in Poulsbo. It was right after we purchased our 1977 32. Great event, if a bit wet. I think Tony Ward-Smith was one of the organizers.
Love to meet up in the summer. At this point, our cruise is set for Aug 1-10. Our only goal is to revisit Victoria as it's been 7 years. Beyond that, we will likely stay in the San Juans and southern Gulfs.
As to not "getting there", it's a lot like trawler cruising—the joy is in the journey. Don't sweat it. Enjoy!
