Maine Surveyors - Hull and F-L engines!

Hello,
A newbie here in Long Beach NY who has just had an offer accepted for a beautiful 1988 42 Classic! Can't wait to get her to the water...BUT first I need an exceptional hull and engine surveyor located in the Maine area? Any suggestions from the group?

Congratulations! Try Steve Bunnell, Bunnell Marine Consulting. He's experienced and qualified, and he's familiar with Grand Banks. Steve did the survey on our sailboat years ago, and then did the survey on our GB. Really nice guy, too. He's works out of the Marblehead, MA area and Camden, Maine...and all points in between. My wife and I bought a GB 36' Heritage Classic in August 2017. Tony Theriault of Theriault Marine @ 207-232-8820 to survey our vessel. We had John Pride @ 207-730-1323 to survey our diesel. ( Cat 3208) Both did an excellent job. Provide a day long comprehensive inspection and report..
