Alarm panel light bulb

Postby mdhervey58 » Mon Sep 18, 2017 5:22 pm

The engine room alarm panel light on my 1999 Europa appears to be burned out. A gentle tug oe twist does not budge it. Before I get more aggressive I would ask the collective wisdom whether this is a screw-in bulb or a push-in bulb?

I cannot tell you about the bulb however I systematically replaced all mine with LED bulbs and housings in the appropriate color.

Alarm panel light bulb removal

Postby Sandpiper » Sat Oct 07, 2017 5:12 pm

A little one inch piece of aquarium air line tubing can be used to grip the bulb for removal/replacement. It's really tough to get your fingers on the bulb. Hope this helps. Sincerely, John
