Re: Water Pump Load on Circuit

Thanks Charlie. The heading sensor is forward in a stateroom under a bed and the pump is aft in the engine compartment about 25 feet apart. I will try to follow the wires to see if they cross paths. Thanks for the idea.

Water Pump Load on Circuit

I have a Paragon fresh water pump. When the pump cycles on I noticed that my Simrad heading sensor temporarily deviates about 20 degrees then returns to an accurate heading once the pump cycles off. Does anyone know of a simple solution to maintain a constant voltage to sensitive instruments when la...

Transmission Control Cable

I have Panish controls on my 2003 GB 46. The port flybridge transmission lever does not move smoothly and easily. Has anyone experienced this problem and has replacing the control cables resulted in a significant improvement?

Water Pressure Issue

A recent problem has emerged with the fresh water pressure system on my 2003 Grand Banks 46 EU. The pressure in the accumulator tank drops and the pump does not start to repressurize the system when the tanks are about three-quarters filled. If I open the three deck fill plates, two seem to have a v...

Teak Swim Platform Crack

I backed into a piling and cracked a couple of the teak swim platform boards. It looks like they could be glued back together and clamped until dry. Any suggestions on the proper glue and best procedure to repair the damaged boards?

46 EU Water Tanks

I recently purchased a 46 Europa with three 100 gallon water tanks. It appears that at least the two most forward tanks are connected with a valve in the open position. The water gauges for the three tanks are all reading different levels. Are the tanks connected so that they should draw down and eq...
