Florida Anchor

I live in Florida and have been up and down east coast from west of Key West to Charleston and up west coast as far as Tampa. Use Rockna (sp?) and never move. Often times anchored in current (like Matanzas, Ft. Pierce, inlets, etc.)

Batteries

I have three 8D's and 1 4D (genset). I changed ALL to AGM's a couple of years ago because I THINK I learned that if you are using a charger that will charge both flooded and AGM, you have to set it to one or the other which means one type will suffer. I did a lot of research on this and it seems tha...

Thanks so much for the response. I will look at it this week when I return to the boat. In my mind's eye, I can only see one valve on each tank...I'll look more closely. Thanks again....that is what I am trying to do..get tanks to level; however, it does see that one should be able to isolate a tank...

Fuel Manifold on '88 46' CL

Can one switch tank usage using existing manifold? I'm sure I have standard set up with 5 valves on top (Return Manifold: Starboard Tank, STBD Engine, Genset, Port Engine, Port Tank) and three on bottom (Supply - Starboard Engine, Genset, & Port Engine). For this reason: Genset runs off STBD tan...

Just figured out how to post reply...thanks for the info, Chuck. I have replumbed both my tanks to the freshwater pump making finding and working on things much easier (no more grey pipe with crimped fittings). I put the valves from both tanks in the engine room so I wouldn't have to lift the stairs...

Freshwater tank in '88 46 CL

Two questions: Does anyone know the capacity of either the main freshwater tank located in the engine room OR the capacity of the other freshwater tank located forward of the forward engine room bulkhead. Second: Tank in engine room is leaking at the bottom to the rear. Cannot see the leak, however,...
