3 Burner Stovetop

The igniters on my Optimus Princess P43 stovetop are becoming increasingly more finicky. Does anyone know if there is a source for OEM replacement parts or a suitable alternative. The burners and grates are fine.

THANK YOU!

Fuel Additive

I was talking to a neighbor at my marina yesterday about fuel additives. He's got a go fast Skipjack that he uses for diving and fishing. He was saying how much 85 Plus diesel fuel additive improves the performance of his engines - reduces smoke and improves mileage. I was not familiar with the prod...

American Marine News

Is any one interested in some old issues of American Marine News magazines? I have Volume 22 Issues 1-3 (1995), Volume 23, 1-3 (1996), Volume 24, 1-3 (1997), Volume 25, 1-2 (2000) and Volumes 26 (2000) and 27 (2001). I was going through stuff in the garage and I came across them. I had fun reading t...

Re: Engine Room Exhaust Fan

Thanks Bob. I'll go with the OEM 35400-000. The boat probably has 30-40 years in it but I for sure don't!

Much appreciated!

Re: Engine Room Exhaust Fan

Thank you VERY much Bob. Much appreciated. But, to be sure I understand, the non-OEM installed 35760-0092 is the better option?

Engine Room Exhaust Fan

I have a 1982 32' Classic. Over the Summer I noticed that my engine room exhaust fan was tripping out on long runs. I figured at 35+ years it was justified in being worn out. The model number is Jabsco/PAR 35400-0000. It is still available. But I read in one comment that this is NOT a continuous blo...

Synthetic Teak Decks

The decks on my 1982 32' classic are starting to show their age. I can probably spruce them up by recaulking the seams but I was hoping for a more permanent solution. The cockpit and flybridge are not too bad but the forwward main deck is hurting. I don't really like the idea of stripping and glassi...

Mast Lights

Thank you all. I will look more closely for the conduit. I was looking at the other end - where to cables/wire came off the mast and thru the flybridge deck.

Much appreciated!!

Mast Lights

I have a 1981/82 32' classic. I recently had the mast and boom powder coated. I figured when it was down and off I'd re-wire the nav, spreader and anchor lights and replace the bulbs with LEDs. I have a question about the wiring beyond the deck plates. I've heard different things about it. Are the c...

Grand Banks Nameplates

The nameplates are awesome. But they are a lot heavier than I expected (not a bad thing at all). I'd like to ask how everyone is mounting them. Are you drilling holes and screwing them (with 5200) into the fiberglass or going all the way into the salon with small lag bolts, washers and cap nuts? Tha...

Grand Banks Logo

I am a bit confused. I was included on Greg's 2/19/17 list for a pair. If I missed that opportunity and there are 3 unspoken for I'll take a pair...To be sure I am on the right page, I am talking about the attached which are 4 x 6.

Deck Fittings

I am dropping my mast to have it and the boom painted. This requires the anchor, navigation/running and spreader light wires to be pulled. Are the wires terminated at the threaded connectors shown in the photo or are only just fitting to seal the hole through the deck? My boat is a 81/82 32' Classic...
