Here's a picture of our pipe davit, hope it helps.....if you need additional photos or specs on it, just let us know. We have an electric winch attached to it (covered here with the dark navy winch cover) which plugs into the 120v outlet on the flybridge.

Good thought Orin. Will check with Grand Banks tomorrow. Thanks for the advice on the fuse holders too. Will definitely take a close look at them.

As always, we thank you for your quick reply. There should be sufficient fiberglass behind and we will plan on that kind of repair then.

Sometime during last's night's winds, State of Mind pulled a cleat from the dock and her stern was holding only by the connected shore power ca...

Marina Reviews / Discussion

We need some "first-hand" information on a couple of marinas in Michigan. Where would be a good place to start in gathering some honest opinions and information?

Thanks for the replys. MarySue was able to trace down the part through Larson Marine. They ordered the part. Turns out it was fairly simple to replace the thermostat. The refrigerator is now up and running and cold. The patient lived.

Again thanks.

Grunert Service - Parts

Hi again, If anyone can refer us to a reputable service technician in the Chicago area, it would be greatly appreciated. We apparently need a new thermostat and service on our 75-cdw Grunert refrigeration system and Grunert lists only a Michigan company. Is that where we need to go for Chicago area ...

Thanks for the information and idea Bob. I tried it, it kicked right off. The thermostat must be the issue. When I took the thermostat off I noticed the thin cooper tube went into a holder on the back of the refrigerator. When I removed it from the holder I found the tube had broken. It seems that i...

We too are having Grunert refrigeration issues. Upon returning to the boat after about a month the refrigerator was not working however the freezer was. We have both a Grunert cold plate freezer and separate refigerator in our 1993 GB 42CL. I checked the circuit breaker and it was fine. I also check...
