There is something magical about the Grand Banks Trawlers that draws out the best owners and bonds them together. How often are we asked when out cruising from a fellow GB cruiser, "What's your hull number?"

The Grand Banks Trawlers have evolved over the years to their current look, which is really little different from the early "woodies". They are imitated by many and are the gold standard against which all other trawler yachts are measured. However, few measure up.

As a Member of GrandBanksOwners, you will be eligible for free email addresses on your choice of GrandBanksOwners.com, GrandBanksTrawlers.com, GBTrawlers.com, AleutianOwners.com, AleutianYachtOwners.com, EastBayOwner.com, EastBayYachtOwners.com, AlaskanTrawlers.com and GBWoodies.com domains. You will also be eligible for a free web page/site that you can easily create with provided tools and manage, again, on your choice of the above domains. When you register, you will become a member of both GrandBanksOwners and GBWoodies (which will include AlaskanTrawlers) sites so you can move back and forth between the sites seamlessly as you choose.

The free web pages/sites are available now and you can create yours by clicking here. The free emails will be available just as soon as we can develop the programming that will automate the process. We expect they will be available by mid-July, but we will keep you posted with an occasional email newsletter.

We also have a section for Manuals in which we have pulled together what manuals we have at our fingertips as well as a process for Members to upload whole manuals and/or links to the source of the manual. With an automated method of Member upload, we hope to quickly develop a comprehensive Manuals section.

There will also be an upload process for new Events for Members to use as well as GB Owners Groups. Rendezvous information will also be available there.

The Boats For Sale section will be a free comprehensive listing service for members and will be available sometime in July. We will let you know by email when it becomes available. In the meantime, feel free to list your boat for sale as well as any equipment on our Classified forum.

We hope to develop a reciprocal relationship with Grand Banks Yachts which will better serve Grand Banks Owners. To this end, we have linked a number of items on this site to the Grand Banks website. We are all one big happy family and we want to strengthen those ties with all members of the Grand Banks family. With your help and support, we can do that and build this resource for all.
